As a catwalk designer we would encorporate our vey own q-build or multi-dek catwalk to make an individual statement. The equipment is based on standard modules that can be adjusted into many different shapes, heights and sizes which help to give the feel of both the ordinary and also the unusual. Once you add lighting on to the stage, then get in the guys who handle all the special effects, combined with our jaw droppingly good side finishes, providing the individual statement that you are trying to bring over on the catwalk.
The equipment our designer will use for the catwalk has been designed so that it is easy and fast to put together without the aid of any tools and it is placed on a wheeled base after every show to ensure that it is very easy to transport to and fro between different locations. Each panel on the q-build measure seventy five centimetres by seventy five centimetres by one point eight centimetres, and also come in a whole range of different heights, we are also able to provide you with black drapes just to give it that finishing touch.
We also use the multi-dek stage extensions for catwalks. These, as with the q-build, also come in most standard heights. A small adaptor is added to the front end of the structure already in place ensuring that any frames that are connected to the said piece of equipment will be tied securely into place and therefore reduce chance of accidents or the stage falling apart during a fashion show.
The decking used by the designer is totally reversible and if need be it can be painted or colour co-ordinated with the surroundings of the theatre, or wherever it is the show may be. You may also use equipment for the orchestra pit.
We also have a catwalk with a difference, this is a favourite of our designer. This is the floating platform, it is ideal in a swimming pool, you get to use the full potential of the pool area by using this dry-dek, the modules lock together and create this surreal pathway across the water, this is becoming more and more popular with our customers. The material is surprisingly strong and very easy to put together, you can place the pieces together from the top you wont need to get your snorkel out and get yourself in the pool, we have made sure of that, you just need to moor them to the side of the pool, these products have been designed so as not to be affected by any chemicals that may be in the water.
