Stage blocks
Old stage blocks can block the performance.
Feedback studies have shown that bulky stage blocks are proving to be a hindrance when it comes to providing height or split levels during a school production. Not only are they difficult to get hold of or get someone to make, they are also so difficult to manoeuvre and their popularity seems to be waning, making way for a more effective solution.
A simple and effective stage block alternative is Q-build portable staging. The option to create stage height, and split level platforms is far easier with Q-build, far safer and much more versatile. Even the hire of stage blocks can be less cost effective than the purchase of portable staging.
Wooden stage blocks for schools may have been a firm favourite many years ago, but more modern lightweight and compact staging designs and accessories from Stage Systems are repeatedly proving their worth and just by trying them, will prove to be invaluable.
