Client: Banks Methodist School

 

 

The brief:

 

As a time-honoured establishment, Banks Methodist School effectively consolidates the traditional with the contemporary. A delightful atmosphere in which to teach and learn, the school takes pleasure in its excellent facilities, combining convention and innovation.

 

The school, promoting traditional Christian values with a commitment to evolve, has explored every opportunity to develop existing resources. Recently, the feasibility of developing usable space to accommodate the ever-widening variety of activities was identified as a priority for school improvement. Unfortunately, the required funding was not readily accessible to finance the project.

 

The end result:

 

The school was inspired two-fold. Firstly, while investigating options to add facilities that would maximise the potential of available space, the school approached Stage Systems and Q-Build Staging. Secondly, so enthused by these products it overcame the funding problems and raised the money with dedicated support from its own Friends’ Association.

 

The motivation for fundraising was created by the exciting potential Q-Build could bring, allied to the community spirit inherent within a distinctive village school setting. This remarkable combination now means that Banks Methodist has an excellent facility to help the pupils develop their creative, performing and musical talents; everyone within the school and wider community can feel proud to be part of its collaborative evolution.
