Stage Systems supply two styles of ramps: access ramps & 1:12 wheelchair ramps.
Our ramps are suitable for use on 277.5mm and 500mm high frames. At 750mm wide, our access ramps fit to a standard Q-build staging unit, however, they can be made to fit a 900mm wide unit if required.
Consisting of an 18mm Buffalo Board – phenol mesh base with phenol smooth reverse, the access ramp includes built in raised sides at 750mm high.
The ramps are designed to easily hook on to the frame units of the stage, making them quick to attach.
Along with access ramps, Stage Systems also supply a 1:12 wheelchair ramp which is available up to two heights: 300mm or 500mm.
The 1:12 ramp to 300mm consists of 18mm Wisadeck panels and, unlike the access ramp, can be used as a stand alone ramp or one that connects to the stage. The first section of the ramp is up to 300mm at a gradient of 1 in 12. The ramp then levels out at 300mm high.
The top flat section of the ramp at 300mm high is assembled out of one 900mm square unit and a Q-plus unit. This allows the ramp to be attached to a stage either end on or sideways on with enough room on the top unit for the wheelchair user to turn. The chairs stop plates supplied are 100mm high from the top surface of the deck and can be reconfigured to allow the various ramp layouts to be constructed.
The 1:12 ramp to 500mm constructed of a special base ramp, 900mm frames (some with adjustable feet) and 900mm x 750mm special bridge decks and some standard modules. Like the 1:12 ramp to 300mm, the 1:12 to 500mm ramp consists of 18mm Wisadeck panels and can be used as a stand alone ramp or one that connects to the stage.
The first section of the stage is up to 300mm at a gradient of 1 in 12 for 3.2m. The ramp then levels out at 300mm high with the top section of the ramp taking the height from 300mm to 500mm at a gradient of 1 in 12 for 2.4m.
