Braiswick Photographic Co Ltd have a head office in Manningtree, Essex and another office just outside Mansfield, Notts. They are specialists in UK school photography and were established in 1965.
Virtually all of their work is within the school environment, ranging from preschool and toddler groups through to sixth form colleges. They cover an area which is nationwide, with experienced photographers based in many locations. Individual and family group portrait packages, along with various types of group work, including panoramic style are all part of their service.
What we did
Braiswick Photographic Co Ltd, specialists in school photography first approached Stage Systems in 1995 regarding a solution for photographing large groups of Primary and Secondary school children. In 1996 they purchased our Q-stand tiering system. The Company have two sets of Q-stand, one at each location. They have used both sets together, giving them the capacity for groups of approximately 400 pupils and staff. The system has been used constantly over the years.
Stage Systems and Braiswick Photographic Co Ltd have an excellent relationship and have been in constant contact with each other for over 22 years. We have provided them with advice, additions and replacements as necessary, to ensure that their equipment is always fit for purpose and ready for any photographic opportunity. This initial investment was paramount in providing them with the right tools to carry out their business nationwide.
We have been extremely pleased with the ease of use of Q-stand and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Although the initial outlay of the equipment was an expense for us, we recouped our costs within the first twelve months. It is in continual use for photographing large groups.
