Q-plus modular staging units consist of a strong metal frame and timber deck. They are manufactured using sustainable materials, the frames are ERW steel tubing with glass filled nylon inserts and the decks are BB quality birch plywood, UV cured with a slip resistant acrylic lacquer finish. Recently the lacquer finish on the decks has been upgraded to a Bio+Coat Antibacterial Lacquer. The product contains an anti-bacterial agent which allows it to be used as a hygienic coating preventing bacteria surviving on its surface and offers excellent scratch resistance.
Q-plus audience staging systems are available in a range of finishes making it an excellent choice for architects, FF&E, Interior designers, and Construction companies. We can offer a WISA® finish which is great in a wet environment such as poolside, the phenolic non-slip is available in a range of colours, samples can be provided on request. We also offer a carpet or wood stain finish to perfectly match an interior design such as a sports hall venue or studio setting.
The system exceeds BS6399 requirements for strength and stability, with a loading of 7.5kN/m2 or a minimum of 5kN/m2 for large, tiered layouts. Furthermore, it holds an excellent guarantee of up to 15 years.
All our staging systems offer accessories such as bridge decks, safety rails, steps and step-handrails. Our in-house design department can create drawings from plans or on-site surveys.
Q-plus is ideal for seated or standing spectators, however it has been designed for seated spectators with each deck measuring 750mm x 900mm which allows for a chair and sufficient foot space, we provide chair stop plates to ensure complete audience safety. Q-plus can accommodate fixed seating such as bucket seats and tip-up folding seats.
